Microcement (Neocement) Flooring in Lebanon
Microcement — or neocement, microtopping, micro cement, whatever you have heard it called — is a 2–3 mm cement-polymer skin applied by hand over your existing floor or wall. No demolition, no joints, one continuous surface. GraniTop is TopCrete’s own microcement system, applied by our crews in apartments, shops, restaurants and villas across Lebanon.
What microcement is (and what it is not)
It is a very thin layer, so it takes the shape of whatever is underneath: tiles, screed, old concrete, plasterboard, even stairs and bathroom walls. It is not a thick concrete pour — for that see PaveCrete. And it is not epoxy — for a glossy resin floor see MagicFlor. Microcement gives you the raw concrete look with a matte or satin seal, in greys, whites, sand tones and darker shades.
Where it works
Living rooms and bedrooms over old tiles. Bathrooms and showers (fully sealed). Shop and boutique floors that need a clean, modern base. Restaurant walls and bar fronts. Stairs. High-rise apartments where pouring concrete is impossible — everything comes up in buckets. Minimum thickness is 2 mm, so door thresholds and levels stay where they are.
How we apply it
Prime the substrate, mesh where needed, two base coats trowelled by hand, then the finish coats in your chosen color and texture — smooth, lightly clouded or rough. We finish with a two-component polyurethane sealer that handles water, foot traffic and cleaning products. A 100 m² apartment takes roughly a week including curing; you can walk on it after 24 hours and move furniture after the sealer cures.

Frequently asked questions
Is microcement the same as neocement?
Yes. Neocement is the name commonly used in Lebanon for microcement / microtopping. GraniTop is TopCrete’s version of it.
Can microcement go over tiles?
Yes — that is its main use. We prime and mesh over the tiles and the joints disappear under the base coats.
Does microcement crack?
Hairline movement can show if the substrate moves, which is why we mesh the base coat and treat existing cracks first. Properly sealed, it is very durable for residential and light commercial use.
How much does microcement cost per m² in Lebanon?
